Introduction
The library is the heart of any academic institution and important role in all academic activities of our institution. Keeping in view the aims and objectives of the college (institutions), the library has been planned, developed & is constantly improvised by staff under the guidance of the library council.
Objectives
•To serve the academic community for the upliftment of the academic activities of the college.
•To cater to needs of the information to the users,
•To provide current and complete information regarding the today's trends.
Infrastructure and Resources
1.The college has a general library, a library book bank facilities for ST/SC/BPL category students and all P.G. Departments have Departmental Libraries with adequate books.
2.There is an advisory committee to look after the proceedings of the library. This committee has regular meetings to discuss issues of purchase, development and improvement of the general library.
3.Students are provided with the facilities of INFLIBNET and reprography service.
4.Total area of the library 372:0 sq mtr.
5.The library has a seating capacity of 50 Students with separate reading rooms for staff and students.
6.The library is open to all from 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM on working days, before examinations and during vacations.
7.The library has a reprography room, separate library for students of the SC/ST Category, separate reading rooms for staff and students with internet access.
8.The library invites lists of books required from all the departments and accordingly through quotations purchase of books is carried out as per government norms.
9.The library is situated on the ground floor with a ramp for easy access for physically disabled students.
10.Convenient and comfortable seating arrangements are provided for the special students with physical assistance if/when required.
11.Visually impaired students are permitted for having a reader.
