The completion of M. Sc. in Botany the students are able to:
- Knowledge and understanding of the range of plant biology in terms of structure, function and environmental relationships.
- Think logically and organize tasks into a structured form and assimilate knowledge and ideas based on wide reading of text books and through the internet.
- Transfer of appropriate knowledge and methods from one topic to another within the subject.
- Carry out practical work, in the field and in the laboratory, with minimal risk.
- Apply the scientific knowledge of basic science, life sciences and fundamental process of plants to study and analyse any plant form.
- Conduct investigations of complex problems by the use research-based knowledge on an independent term project.
- Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess plant diversity, and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the biodiversity conservation practice.
